Pro F8 KTM Taper Bar

RFX Pro Series F8 Taper Bars are designed and tested at the highest competition level.

Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium, F8 Taper Bars feature Oversize Taper Extension (OTE) technology for optimal strength and crash resistance, while Engineered Flex Technology (EFT) and Progressive Damping Control (PDC) provide calibrated flex and reduce machine vibration to minimise rider fatigue.

The F8 Taper Bar design also features an original type cross brace, providing a slightly firmer feel compared to the F7 design, making it the preferred choice of some expert and professional racers.

OTE technology extends the central oversize section (28.6mm) beyond the final bend in the handlebar, adding significant strength to the most vulnerable part of any handlebar. Combined with a 5mm wall thickness that remains consistent even on the outside of bends, the F8 Taper Bar is one of the lightest yet strongest bars on the market.

EFT technology is designed to provide a small amount of flex in the bars. A carefully selected inner wall thickness of 5mm through the rise and taper area reduces the effects of jarring in large impacts whilst providing maximum front-end feel in corners. The F8 bars offer a slightly firmer feel than the F7 thanks to the incorporated cross brace.

PDC technology uses a larger wall thickness of 5.3mm in the handlebar grip area, calculated to balance and dampen the effects of handlebar vibration. This is a similar principle to handlebar weights used in sports bikes but is specifically designed and tested to suit the vibration range produced by modern high-performance four-stroke motocross bikes.
