The first stop of the 2026 RFX MXGP Tour delivered everything the brand stands for: racing, visibility, product discovery and direct connection with riders, dealers and fans. In Almonte, Spain, RFX officially launched a new chapter in its MXGP presence alongside Team Honda SR Motoblouz, despite demanding track and weather conditions.
RFX MXGP Tour launches in Almonte
The opening round of the RFX MXGP Tour marked a major step for the brand in 2026. Designed to strengthen RFX’s legitimacy and credibility in the MXGP paddock, the project includes five European dates and a dedicated activation built around a fully RFX-branded truck, exclusive product presentation, dealer hospitality and fan engagement. The broader objective is clear: reward customers, increase brand visibility and show the full depth of the RFX range in the most demanding racing environments.
Almonte was the perfect place to start. Positioned right in front of the starting line at the entrance to the paddock, the RFX truck became a focal point throughout the weekend. Dealers enjoyed a premium viewing point from the rooftop, while fans stopped to discover the products, take photos and step inside the truck to experience the brand first-hand.

Strong presence on and off the track
RFX’s long-standing collaboration with Team Honda SR Motoblouz added another important dimension to the weekend. A team visit was organized with team manager Josse Sallefranque, giving invited guests a closer look at how a professional MXGP structure operates during race weekend. According to the event report, this was especially well received by visiting dealers, who valued both the access and the quality of the exchange with the team.

Tough conditions, resilient effort from Team Honda SR Motoblouz
On track, the GP was a demanding one for the Team Honda SR Motoblouz. The event took place in difficult conditions, with the weekend already starting in mixed weather and the RFX setup crew having to work through rain and heavy mud around the paddock area.

For Kevin Horgmo, this was a weekend of determination and commitment. Still working his way back after illness earlier in the month, he fought through the conditions and secured 15th overall, with finishes of 15th and 14th in the races.

For Thibault Bénistant, the weekend ended early after his heavy crash on Saturday prevented him from lining up on Sunday. Even so, his presence remains central to the Team, and the focus quickly turns to recovery and the next opportunity to bounce back. In racing, difficult weekends are part of the journey, and this one only adds to the motivation heading into the next round.
Full gas toward the next stop
If Almonte was the first chapter, it was already a strong one. The RFX MXGP Tour was built to create a premium race-weekend experience, support business relationships, reinforce credibility in the paddock and bring the brand closer to riders and fans. In Spain, that ambition became reality.

The conditions were tough, the racing was demanding, but the energy around RFX was real from start to finish. That is exactly what the brand stands for: race-proven commitment, passion for the sport and products built by riders, for riders.

Now, with the first stop completed, the tour moves on with momentum already building toward the next MXGP round.
